This family wanted something bold and graphic for their back terrace, so we used this work by Kandinsky to give the space the drama it deserved. The red arching wall wraps around the old sugar kettle we used for the wood burning fire pit, dangling it atop boulders we found on site. The raised dining deck floats among the grasses, while the recessed hot tub hides in the background. Bold yellow and red furniture complete the Kandinsky theme, both in color and in form.
