Rustic Red Farmhouse

This antique colonial farmhouse got a second lease on life with a major remodel, followed by an updated landscape with rustic features and modern functionality. The outdoor grill area connects the dining and lounging patio to the fire pit space with the texture and pattern of reclaimed granite slabs. Granite benches surround the reclaimed granite fire pit. Curving and rolling stone walls connect the living spaces to the lawn and plantings.

The front entrance to the property was delineated with fencing, cobblestone details and two beautiful stone pillars.

Outdoor grill area is between the dining patio and the fire pit lounge, for flexibility when entertaining.
Rustic gas fire pit is made with reclaimed granite and is surrounded with custom granite benches and granite curbing.
Reclaimed granite slabs with creeping thyme create a beautifully textured transition between different spaces.
Dining and lounging areas near the house are surrounded with stone sitting walls, offering a cozy sense of enclosure, as well as seating for larger gatherings.
Although the outdoor living spaces are large enough to accommodate large gatherings, the curving stone walls and plantings divide and soften the spaces.
Undulating walls create a sense of movement with the plantings.
